Virginia was born and raised in Chagford. She is an illustrator of several fairy tales and myths for children and has sculpted for film as well as her own surrealistic characters.
In her personal art, Virginia uses her own visual language to explore themes of transformation and connection to nature, creating realms where deep aspects of the psyche are embodied in folkloric characters and revealed in the mythic landscape.
